Murray Brothers was initially selected as the General Contractor to convert an existing basement into a commercial grade kitchen and serving room complete with commercial cooking equipment, new mechanical, electrical, and plumbing services and finishes.

Shortly after completion the Ice Storm of December 11 2008 caused havoc on the building when the extreme cold and lack of power resulted in a burst sprinkler line that flooded the Nursery, Sanctuary, Entry Hall, Staircase, and Fellowship Hall. Murray Brothers was asked to be onsite and worked along side Service Master to repair the sprinkler line, ceilings, walls, and finishes.
